It’s been a long time, you’ll see me here more often. How have you been doing in 2009? Have you been keeping up with your new years resolutions?I hope so, if not go back and review your goals and get crystal clear on why you want to achieve your goals. As it turns out humans need very strong reason for accomplishing our goals or anything worth while in life. We need strong reasons to keep us motivated to get us through the resistance we face on a daily basis. Anything you want to change in your life requires you to push past the resistance you will face when trying to get to your final destination, so if you have a strong enough why a strong enough reason you will have the strength to persavior.If your plan is to loose 25lbs by June write down how will your life be when youre 25lbs thiner how will you feel how will you look with your new body picture it and feel it. Everything in the external word first started in the internal world. In other words you must see it in your mind before it can becomes reality.so to summerize get clear on what you want. Have strong reasons why you want it the more reasons the better. The more reason the more likely you are to follow through.Remember if you don’t have enough or strong enough reason the really move you emotionally maybe you should change your goals to something that really lights you up makes you feel excited when you think about it. Ok I’m changing directions now I wanted to share with my Realtor friend what’s been working for me so far to get buyer clients, with the most leverage possible. By leverage I mean least amount of money spent to aquire clients least amount of effort, least amount of time and maximum amount of results. So here we go, recently hired someone to hold open houses for me I put an ad offering to pay $10 an hour plus a bonus for every transaction that closes.I went out and bought about 100 cheap cardboard type of open house signs the kind you can buy at homedepot or lowes, then I have my assistant put up 20 to 30 open house signs per home. Let me back up a little I find a house that is a clean really nice looking home that is very well priced, a good buy. Perferably a new listing. Then we put up the nice I grab a Thomas guide map out the area if there is a freeway nearby I make sure my assistant places signs by all the off ramps, all the major intersections, remember we need lots of traffic coming to our open house. So 20 to 30 open house signs I think is a good number. The results 59 leads 4 offers. I haven’t even gone through all the leads yet.
